Shows Calendar
Your shows in one calendar, with the next episode straight into Google or Apple Calendar.
Background
Shows land scattered across streaming services and broadcast schedules, and the overview disappears fast. When does the next episode arrive, and how far had I actually come? Shows Calendar is an internal product at AStyltsvig Consulting: one free place that keeps track of it all.
The idea
Follow your shows, see every upcoming episode in one combined monthly calendar in your own time zone, and mark what you’ve watched. One at a time, whole seasons, or everything at once. That way you never miss an episode again.
The solution
A Next.js app on Cloudflare Pages where air dates and episodes are fetched live from TVmaze. No manual entry and no stale data. Every user gets a personal iCal feed, so new episodes appear automatically in Google or Apple Calendar. An account takes ten seconds with email or Google, and the whole interface is available in both Danish and English.
Outcome
A free product in daily production solving a very concrete everyday problem: the calendar keeps itself up to date, progress follows along, and the next episode doesn’t catch you off guard again.
