Background
In insurance and pensions, data is in constant motion, and the demands on security, traceability, and correct handling are high. Many stakeholders work in the same material from different angles, and nothing may be lost or changed without a trace.
That calls for a platform that is strict about access and business rules, yet flexible enough to follow how the work is actually done.
The platform
The platform administers insurance policies and pension schemes across hundreds of companies and thousands of employees: who is covered by what, which documents belong to which scheme, and what changed when.
The foundation is a fine-grained access system, reusable data models across providers, and automated workflows around changes that require follow-up. Two brands run on the same platform with one codebase, so every improvement benefits both.
My role
Architecture, development, and operations across the platform’s entire lifetime, from the first foundation in 2021, through today’s daily production, to the ongoing work on the next generation.
Outcome
In stable daily production since 2022, carrying business-critical processes for two brands. The platform is continuously developed and optimised as the business evolves.
