Background
Cycling Without Age is a Danish-founded movement with affiliates in dozens of countries. Over the years an international IT setup had grown, spanning Google Workspace, Zendesk, Looker Studio, and a long list of domains, but without a single point of technical ownership.
Brief
Gather the technical responsibility in one place: map the systems in use, clean up access, and bring DNS and email authentication up to one consistent standard.
Approach
Review and consolidation of Google Workspace administration and access rights. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured across the organisation’s domains, so mail arrives and the domains cannot be abused. Technical takeover of the systems surrounding the Book2Go platform (Zendesk, Looker Studio), documented so the knowledge doesn’t live in one head.
Outcome
The organisation now has one technical point of contact, a documented infrastructure, and email authentication that protects against spoofing. The role is ongoing, because infrastructure is a responsibility you keep having.
