A festival website with a bold pop-art identity and accessibility built in from the start.

Background
Festival Sans Pression is a two-day festival in Toulouse on 3-4 October 2026, held by Association Parenthèse. The festival is dedicated to the FLINTA community (femmes, lesbiennes, intersexes, non binaires, trans, agenres) and brings together workshops, conversations, and an alcohol-free environment — “sans codes, sans masques, sans pression”.
Brief
Build a festival website that carries the illustrated visual identity from the poster (by the artist BM) through to the web, with clear information about programme, tickets, and practicalities — and with accessibility treated as a given, not an add-on.
Approach
Astro site deployed on Cloudflare Pages. The pop-art palette — pastel violet, pink, and turquoise — runs through the whole site, with generous whitespace, large typographic statements, and illustrative elements drawn from the poster’s universe. Three display modes — default, dark, and high contrast — make the site usable for visitors with different visual needs, without compromising the visual identity.
Outcome
One of the sites I’m most proud of aesthetically: Astro’s static output in service of an artist-led visual identity, with accessibility and a quiet, dependable operating model on top.
